Fergus Electric Cooperative is committed to enhancing the quality of life in our community. One way we give back is by offering annual scholarship opportunities to our members and their dependents.

These scholarship programs are funded and supported by Fergus Electric and our cooperative network partners. To qualify, the applicant or their parent/guardian must be a member-consumer receiving electric service from Fergus Electric Cooperative. Available opportunities include the Basin Electric Scholarship, which awards $2,500 to the dependent of a member, and the MECA/FERGUS Scholarship, where qualifying applicants can win a $1,000 scholarship from Fergus Electric, plus a chance to win an additional $500 scholarship from the Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association (MECA).

Additionally, ten (10) $1,000 Annual Meeting Luck of the Draw Scholarships will be randomly selected during this year’s annual meeting on June 4th at the Fergus County Trade Center.
